Very handsome male mascaron depicting a man with a neat mustache and beard. The mascaron is framed by two horns of plenty overflowing with fruit. An imposing garland of fruit decorates the door frame.

6 rue Alfred Roll
A duck surrounded by bamboo occupies the entire space beneath the gable above the door. The pinnacle on the left is supported by a monk sitting on a pig, while that on the right is supported by a hilarious cherub. Above the service door, a man turning a crank is depicted on the key. Other figures and animals enliven the carefully crafted facade of this neo-Gothic townhouse.

12 rue Alfred Roll
Three rounded wrought-iron doors. The central door is surmounted by a small grimacing mascaron. The three doors are surmounted by a large balcony whose brackets are adorned with cherubs’ heads. The doors are decorated with a small mosaic plaque.

Rounded carriage entrance and service door under an arcature topped by a rocaille-style cartouche.

68 rue Ampère
Exceptionally, it’s the balcony rather than the door that takes center stage in this small neo-Gothic townhouse. The abundant decor is designed to be admired by passers-by. Three small figures adorn the consoles: a musician, a pensive monk and a hunter with his bow. Between the figures are griffins amidst foliage.

Beautiful head of Hercules wearing the skin of the Nemean lion above the door. Two small male masks adorn the porch brackets.

Porch surmounted by a very deep wrought-iron balcony supported by slender metal columns in the English style of the Rue de l’Elysée in the 8th district.
